The past:
The door to the past is a strange door. It swings open and things pass through, but in one direction only. There are two ways to seek the door, in the swamps of inland waters and along the tide flats of estuaries where river come to the sea. By these two pathways, life came ashore.

About Ilona Petzer
Ilona was born in Johannesburg, South Africa but later moved to Nelspruit , Mpumalanga with her parents . During her school years classical ballet and Spanish dancing took up most of her time. She started her painting career attending classes and workshops by well known National and International artists such as : Rose Edin (Florida:USA), Mary Todd Beam (Ohio : USA), Wendy Amm (RSA) Judith Mason (RSA), Prof Greg Kerr (RSA) and Athur Neal ( Kent :UK) She is now a full time professional artist Studies Baccalaureus Artium University of Pretoria HED University of South Africa Certificate in "Art and Ideas" from Museum of Modern Art National group exhibitions since 1996 Solo Exhibition at Pretoria Association of Arts ...
